Born and raised in Belgrade Serbia, Filip Xavi is recognized as one of the pillars of the local contemporary techno scene, active as a DJ and promoter of techno culture in Serbia over the span of last two decades.
As Drugstore resident, since 2013 he played and curated over 100 events that reshaped Belgrade techno scene landscape.
Since 2011. his music was released on : Dynamic Reflection, Subsist, Sonntag Morgen, Decoder Recordings, Art21, Schimmer, Semantica, MORD, Newrhythmic, and Mindtrip records.
These sequences of events resonated outside the frames of the Serbian scene and led to the invitations to some of the Europe’s most repsected clubs : Tresor Berlin, Radion Amsterdam, Le Sucre Lyon, Institut Fur Zukunft – Leipzeig, Larm – Budapest , Mutabor..
2019 saw his first Boiler Room appearance at Drugstore.
Innately attracted to the hypnotic techno archetype, Filip unfolds his sets in waves of suspense and tension, with each new transition captivating you further into his oneiric sonic universe.
