Fire Mode is proud to announce its first vinyl release, Iron Heat VA 001, set to drop on February 7th. This groundbreaking EP brings together four dynamic tracks that embody the label’s mission: to push the boundaries of industrial hard techno while evoking raw emotions and energy.
The release opens with “Paranoia” by Xenia, which emerges from a flow of dark, repetitive melodies and a powerful, rave-like vibe. Xenia’s use of an industrial kick and driving breakbeats creates an intense first half, while the second half introduces a more uplifting feeling, reflecting the duality of paranoia itself.
“Nevermind” by Nothing Left blends melancholic piano with hard-hitting techno percussion. Beginning with a soft, crystalline melody, it gradually builds tension through a powerful crescendo. The track reaches a peak with distorted kicks and hypnotic grooves, alternating between introspection and raw, intense energy.
Shelter Ember by ALDES takes listeners into the depths of industrial techno, with pulsating bass and mechanical percussion. The track’s dark atmosphere is punctuated by sharp, distorted synths, creating a feeling of constant tension. The title, “Shelter Ember,” evokes the notion of searching for protection in a chaotic world, where a faint flame—like an ember—still flickers amidst the noise.
Closing out the EP is Devote to Destruction by In50lencee, a track that taps into feelings of rage, anger, and obstinacy. The industrial sounds, pounding kicks, and vocal effects mirror a world where emotions fade and destruction takes control. It’s a track that expresses the destructive drive within us, amplifying the darkest, most intense emotions.
Iron Heat 001 is a fierce introduction to Fire Mode’s distinctive sound – industrial, energetic, and deeply emotive. This release is a must-have for fans of boundary-pushing electronic music that challenges conventions and offers a cathartic journey into raw, unfiltered emotion.
